Eva Jacquelinn Longoria was born on March 15, 1975 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She is the daughter of Ella Eva Mireles and Enrique Longoria, Jr. and the youngest of four sisters: Elizabeth Judina, Emily Jeannette and Esmeralda Josephina. Eva Longoria admitted that she, her sisters and parents had very little money growing up. Her family lived and worked on a farmland, which was handed down to them from past generations.

Eva Longoria attended Marvin Baker Middle School and continued her studies at Roy Miller High School. She completed a degree in kinesiology at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, where she won Miss Corpus Christi in 1998. After college, Eva Longoria competed in a talent contest, where a theatrical agent spotted her and signed her, leading to a career in Hollywood.

The first television role that the sexy and gorgeous Eva Longoria won was in 2000 when she guest starred in an episode in the popular series, Beverly Hills, 90210. She also appeared in General Hospital in 2000, but only when she played the psychotic Isabella Braña Williams in “The Young and the Restless” from 2001 to 2003 did Eva Longoria receive her big break. After leaving the day time soap, she appeared in Dick Wolf and Señorita Justice, which was both received poorly.

In 2004, Eva Longoria’s luck started to change when she landed a role in the worldwide breakout ABC series, Desperate Housewives alongside Teri Hatcher and Felicity Huffman, among others. The show became an overnight success. In 2005, Eva Longoria received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series. In 2006, Eva Longoria starred opposite Kiefer Sutherland and Michael Douglas in the movie, The Sentinel, which was her first major role in a Hollywood movie. Her latest movie appearance was in “Harsh Times”, alongside Christian Bale and Freddy Rodriguez.

Aside from acting, Eva Longoria is also the spokesperson for Bebe Sport and L’Oreal & Hanes. In 2007, Eva and her Desperate Housewives co-stars each renewed their contracts with ABC for four years, amounting to $40 million.

Although Eva Longoria was married to General Hospital costar Tyler Christopher since January 2002, their marriage ended in January 2004. As a natural South Texan, Eva Longoria is an avid San Antonio Spurs fan. After months of courtship, Eva Longoria became engaged to Spurs point guard, Tony Parker on November 2006 and was officially married on July 6 & 7, 2007. In Desperate Housewives, the sexy Eva is now credited as “Eva Longoria Parker”
