Estelle Lefebure was born Estelle Lefebure Essebag on the 5th of May 1966 in Rouen, France. She is one of the most famous French actresses and one of the top models during the 80s and 90s.

Estelle Lefebure started modeling when she was 19 and over the course of years, she has appeared in top fashion lines including Guess, Christian Dior, Lord & Taylor, Revlon and Cartier. She has also graced the cover of many fashion magazines. In 1993, she was in the swimsuit issue of Sports Illustrated. The following year, she was named as one of the 50 Most Beautiful People of 1994 by the People Magazine.
In 1999, Estelle Lefebure was a candidate for Marianne, the French national symbol; unfortunately she lost. Her career in modeling was launched by Guess? Paul Marciano, Guess? President and creative director saw potential in her and cast her in six ads for Guess? She then became one of Guess?’s advertising models, which included Suzanne Lanza, Yasmin Le Bon, Jill Goodacre, Frederique van Der Wal and Carla Bruni.

In 1996, Estelle Lefebure's face graced the cover of Elle France and the following year Elle Sweden. She was then at the height of her career and was the number 21 on the Top Model list. Then she was also seen in the video of “Too Funky” by George Michael. By this time, Estelle Lefebure was one of the most famous celebrities in France. She also appeared in television as host of a fashion, travel and lifestyle show in France. Her book, Estelle by Estelle: My Beauty Secrets was well received when it was published.

In 1989, Estelle Lefebure married singer David Hallyday and had two children with him. But in 2000, the couple decided to divorce. Estelle has been known to live a wild and on the edge lifestyle and when she is not busy she is seen indulging herself in her hobby, car racing. She is also known for her passion for exotic cars.

In 2005, she was in Au petit matin as Marie. In 2001, she played the role of Mannequin défilé Gaultier in Absolutment Fabuleux or Absolutely Fabulous.
