At the age of 17, Estella Warren became the senior national champion. She could have entered the 1996 Summer Olympics but instead chose to concentrate on modeling. While participating in her high school fashion show, she was spotted by a talent agent and sent a picture of her at one of New Yorks top modeling agencies. This was the start of her modeling career but the end of her swimming career.
As a model, Estella Warren has appeared in top fashion magazines including Sports Illustrated, Vogue, Snoecks 2000 and Vanity Fair. She also appeared in the Channel no. 5 commercial ad for television. In 2000, she was one of Maxims Hottest Woman in 2000. She did major ad campaigns for Perry Ellis, Cacharel, Andrew Marc, Nine West, Victorias Secret and even for Samsung.
Then in 2000, along with Damon Wayans, Estella Warren co-hosted the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2000. This was followed by several movie appearances, including Driven in 2001, where she was seen with Sylvester Stallone; and in the move Planet of the Apes, where she was seen with Mark Whalberg. Then in 2003, she was in Kangaroo Jack and The Cooler.
Aside from the movies, Estella Warren landed several guest starring roles in television. This included an appearance in That 70s Show in 2003. Then in 2005, she was seen in Law & Order and SVU. The same year, she was in On the Wings of a Dove episode of Ghost Whisperer. The following year, she was in the video of the song Afterglow by INXS and in the video of Beyond Time by Blank and Jones.
In 2005, she became the number 61 in 100 Sexiest Women in the World by FHM. The following year, she was the number 52 in the same ranking by the same magazine. She was Stuff magazines November 2007 in the 2006-2007 calendars. When not busy, Estella Warren also enjoys singing, horse riding and playing the piano.
