Erin Daniels was born Erin Cohen on the 9th of October 1973 in St. Louis, Missouri. She was raised by her father, an architect, and her mother, a clinical social worker, in Missouri. Her family, as she was very proud of, was very active in the local Jewish community. Her grandmother was honored by the National Conference of Christians and Jews and her mother was one of the founders of the Central Reform Congregation in St. Louis.

Erin Daniels grew up in Missouri and attended the Clayton High School in St. Louis. Then she went to Vassar College where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and Architecture. After college, when she finally decided to pursue her acting career, she changed her name from Erin Cohen to Erin Daniels.

In 2002, she was awarded the Emerging Star Awards by the St. Louis Film Festival for her several appearances in film and television. Erin Daniels was previously seen in the House of 1000 Corpse, Wheelmen and One Hour Photo. After appearing in those films, she landed a role in The L Word by Showtime. She played the role of lesbian Dana Fairbanks in the finale of Season four of this new hit series. She was also seen in television in the series Jericho, Justice and Dexter.

Erin Daniels was seen in Jericho as Maggie in the episodes One If by Land and Semper Fidelis, both in 2007. She was in The L Word’s episodes: Long Time Coming episode in 2007, Left Hand of the Goddess in 2006, Last Dance in 2006, Losing the Light in 2006 and Lead, Follow or Get out of the Way in 2006. Also in 2006, she was in Shotgun episode, Crucified episode and Addicts episode of Justice, where she played the role of Betsy Harrison. She was also seen in Dexter’s Let’s Give the Boy a Hand episode in 2006, in Love Monkey’s Mything Persons episode, as Dana and in Julie Reno, Bounty Hunter Pilot episode as Julie Reno.

In 2003, Erin Daniels was in the episodes Stormwatch, Execution, Home Invasion and Sinaloa Cowboys of Boomtown. She played the role of Officer Karen Crane in the different episodes. The previous year, she was also seen in Wheelmen as Gwen. The year before that, she played the role of Nicole Gilbert in Live and Leg Die episode of Philly.

Erin Daniels’ appearances included Jack & Jill, The Disciples, V.I.P., Action, Chill Factor, Flushed, The Outer Limits, USMA West Point and Law & Order. She also appeared in the miniseries I Love the 90s, in TV Talk, in 101 Best Kept Hollywood Secrets and Charlie.
