Elise Neal is a sexy American actress born on March 14, 1966 in Memphis, Tennessee. Her father is a construction worker and she graduated from the Overton High School in 1984, and eventually attended the University of Arts in Philadelphia. It didn’t take a long time before she moved to New York City and explored the world of musical theater which eventually took her traveling around the world with several touring companies. These experiences of hers were then applied in a bunch of commercials, and eventually she found herself in Los Angeles scouting for professional acting stints.

Because of her sexy dark looks, Elise Neal landed on the role of Janice Sinclair on the soap opera Loving. She then made a leap to primetime television on the series Seaquest, which was produced by Stephen Spielberg. It wasn’t long before she made her film debut in a starring role on the movie Rosewood, directed by John Singleton. Her other film credits are Paid in Full, Money Talks, Mission to Mars, and Restaurant, opposite award-winning actor Adrien Brody.

Elise Neal then became more recognized as an actress when she ventured into the world of horror films, as she became part of the cult hilt, Scream 2. Her brilliant acting performance in the movie Hustle and Flow led her and the rest of the cast to a Screen Actors Guild nomination for best ensemble, NAACP award for best picture and best cast at the Young Hollywood Awards and the audience award at Sundance in 2005. Elise Neal also became the 2006 recipient of The African American Women in Cinema Award.

Her latest film, 4 Life, was released on July 2007. The movie as well launched her singing career. She is also part of the series K-Ville, starring Anthony Anderson and Cole Hauser.

Elise Neal starred in Aretha Franklin's video A Rose is a Rose, 50 Cent's music video for Follow My Lead, Vanessa Williams's video Work to Do and Portrait's Honey Dip. Neal recently became the cover girl of King Magazine. She is also busy creating multimedia pieces such as a reality based on her own R&B group, and developing other projects like a fitness and lifestyle brand named Assorted Flavors as well as deals with Mandalay Bay Entertainment.
