Dina Meyer is an American film and television actress born on December 22, 1968 in Queens, New York. Her father is an owner of an auto repair shop, and she has two brothers. She studied dance all throughout her childhood and has since loved performing dance recitals and stage productions. She knew passion is to be performer, and she was even accepted into New York's High School of Performing Arts, however her parents convinced her to take on a more academic career. She graduated with a degree in Business Administration and minored in French at Long Island University, and as well attended the Sorbonne in Paris. Now finished with her studies, it was then when Dina Meyer decided to go back to her first love, acting. She thus undderwent training at The Neighborhood Playhouse in New York, where she learned Sanford Meisner's acting techniques through mentor Ron Stetson.

This then blooming actress made her film debut co-starring Keanu Reeves in the action-thriller Johnny Mnemonic. This was followed by a lead role opposite Dennis Quaid in the feature film Dragonheart. Films which gave her a name in Hollywood are Starship Troopers and Bats, as well as a recurring role in the "Saw" franchise.

On television, Dina Meyer is most remembered in Aaron Spelling’s hit teen series, Beverly Hills, 90210 as the adulterous professor who had an affair with Jason Priestley’s character, Brandon. She also became Joey’s love interest in Friends. Already a favorite pick among science fiction fans, Dina Meyer went on to star as Barbara Gordon and her alter-ego, Oracle, in the series Birds of Prey. She also had a leading role on the nighttime drama Point Pleasant. Other TV appearances include Miss Match, Ally McBeal, Six Feet Under, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and CSI: Miami.

Dina Meyer’s most recent film work was in hit horror thriller Saw and its sequels, where she played the role of Detective Allison Kerry. Her other film credits include The Movie Hero, Wild Things, Decoys 2: Alien Seduction and Crazy Eights.

When not on location, Dina Meyer enjoys snowboarding, rollerblading and biking. Dina Meyer currently lives in Los Angeles.
