Constance Zimmer is an American actress born on October 11, 1970 in Seattle, Washington. She became known to the audiences as attorney Claire Simms on the third season of Boston Legal. She started her career as an actress when she participated in plays and other productions back when she was in high school. After graduating from high school Constance Zimmer auditioned and eventually went to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, California. Afterwards she continued studying acting under renowned mentors such as Stella Adler and Arthur Mendoza.

Constance Zimmer first appeared on television with a string of commercials shown which were aired nationwide. Among the brands that she endorsed were Duracell, Triscuit and Budweiser. Because of these she was easily recognized and was given the opportunity to act on TV shows including that of King of Queens, Fighting Fitzgeralds, Seinfeld and Wayans Brothers. Later on she took part in the cast of Good Morning Miami, as a the witty yet always burned out Penny, assistant to Jake Silver, which was played by Mark Feuerstein. Her other television credits include Philly, Providence, the X-Files, and Gideon’s Crossing.

This actress also took part on the big screen, with movies such as Home Room, Spin Cycle, Warm Blooded Killers, and Senseless.

Constance Zimmer became a regular member of the TV series Boston Legal after she astounded audiences in the episode ‘Lincoln’. Despite good reviews for her role, the TV producers did not choose to renew her contract as the season ended. Constance Zimmer then moved on to reprise her character as studio executive Dana Gordon on the fourth season of Entourage, shown on HBO.

This Hollywood star is also an active fundraiser and together with the cast of Good Morning, Miami, she holds fundraising programs for the benefit of the AIDS Project-Los Angeles, Tuesday’s Child and The American Cinematheque.

When not on location, Constance Zimmer makes handmade jewelry, greeting cards, candles, and other personalized items. During her teens she was a gymnast, and recently, she has fulfilled her long-time dream, to have her own book club. She also enjoys hiking at the Los Angeles canyons.

Her recent film work was in the Hallmark movie Mystery Woman, co-starring Kellie Martin and Robert Wagner.
