Connie Sellecca is an American actress and model born on May 25, 1955 in The Bronx, New York. At the age of 12 she moved to Pomona, a village in Rockland County, Newy York. She took interest in the performing arts while in school, wherein she attended the Pomona Junior High School and the Ramapo High Schoo in Spring Valley. Upon graduation she studied at Boston College, however a few months shy of graduation she withdrew from college and pursued an acting career.

Her first stint in the entertainment industry however was in the field of modeling, wherein she took on a career as a lingerie and fashion model. Soon after, she auditioned for the titular lead in Galaxina (1980) and became the top choice of filmmakers to portray the role. However, it was 1979 "Playboy" Playmate of the Year Dorothy Stratten who won the the part in the long run. Connie Sellecca eventually became known for her roles as Pam Davidson, William Katt’s girlfriend and Robert Culp’s law partner in the television series The Greatest American Hero. She soon became James Brolin’s manager and later beau, Christine Francis in the 1980s series, Hotel.

In an article in TV Guide magazine, it was reported that during her stay on The Greatest American Hero, Connie Selleca was known for playing practical jokes that usually involved faking her own death. Her then-husband, actor Gil Gerard got used to her pranks such that he developed at critiquing system for her.

Her most recent film was in The Wild Stallion in 2007.

Connie Sellecca was twice married, first to Gil Gerard whom she was with from 1979 to 1987. They have one son, Gilbert ‘Gib’ Gerard who was born in 1981. In 1992 Connie Sellecca married pianist/infotainer Johnny Tesh and they have one daughter, Prima Sellechia Tesh, born in 1994. According to reports, Johnny Tesh has never seen an episode of Hotel before he met Connie Sellecca, but he watched every episode of The Greatest American Hero. The two underwent a traditional courtship and seriously dated for two years without sex before getting married.

Connie Sellecca, like her husband, is a born-again Christian. She is also the co-creator of Sellecca skin care products.
