In 1993, Claire Forlani and her family moved to San Francisco California so that she can secure more acting jobs in Hollywood movies. It didnt take long before she joined the cast of the mini-series J.F.K.: Reckless Youth and the movie Police Academy: Mission to Moscow. By 1995, the hot actress took on a supporting role in the cult classic, Mallrats, directed by Kevin Smith. She then worked with actor Sean Connery in the action flick, The Rock in 1996. Her most commercially successful film came in 1998 when she co-starred with Brad Pitt and Anthony Hopkins in the movie Meet Joe Black.
With astonishing looks and a vivid personality, Claire Forlani became the face of LOreal cosmetics in 2001. Now becoming one of the hottest female actresses in Hollywood, she then ranked #51 (in 2000) and #89 (2001) in Stuff Magazines 100 Sexiest Women, and #85 in FHMs 100 Sexiest Women of 2001. Claire Forlani became known on television when she joined the cast of CSI: New York in 2006, wherein she took on the recurring role of medical examiner Dr. Peyton Driscoll. The following year, she went back to the big screen and portrayed the character of Toree Bodeen in the movie adaptation of Nora Robertss bestseller, Carolina Moon.
Claire Forlani was once involved with actors such as Benicio del Toro, John Cusack, Ben Stiller, and Brad Pitt. In June of 2007, she married fellow actor Dougray Scott. Claire Forlani has a down pat American accent, thus she often surprises audiences whenever they learn that she is in fact English.
