Christine Lakin Biography
Christine Lakin was raised in Atlanta Georgia where they had lived for 12 long years inside a great house. When she was in Atlanta, she took Tap dance, jazz and drama classes. Somewhere in summer, she was discovered by an agent. She attended The Atlanta Workshop and that agent saw her performance and asked for her number.
Christine Lakin first auditioned for the TV commercial Got Milk. Unfortunately, she failed to pass the audition. Another opportunity came her way when she was signed up for the civil-war flick Rose and the Jackal in 1990. It is one of the series on television where she got to play the young Rose, which also starred Christopher Reeve. The TV show Step by Step made her known in show business. Here, she played the tomboyish daughter of Al Lambert.
Simultaneously, while doing the series, Christine Lakin attended her high school. She graduated in 1997 and in the same year, she made several guest appearances on different television shows. However, due to low rating, Step by Step was cancelled in 1998. She then attended college in UCLA where she took up filming. Christine focused on her studies while appearing in made for television films. She graduated from UCLA in the year 2003.
Christine Lakin continued to do independent films such as Big Monster on Campus in 1998 and Finding Kelly in 1999. She also appeared as Kate in Showtime opposite Reefer Madness and in Whos Your Daddy? She claimed that she really fell in love with role in this project. Whatever It Takes (2000) was her first huge theatrical role.
At this time, Christine Lakin has become one of the regulars of MTVs Wild and Out. This show somewhat resembled the famed Whose Line Is It Anyway? Aside from TV appearances, Christine signed up for the commercial But He Has Bud Light which was aired during the Super Bowl XLI.
Christine Lakin will again be seen in the movie The Hottie and the Nottie together with Paris Hilton. This film is scheduled for release in 2008. Christine is currently dating film director Andy Fickman.
