Christina Applegate was born on November 25, 1971 in Hollywood California. Daughter of record producer and record company owner, Robert Applegate and a singer-actress mother, Nancy Lee Priddy, Christina Applegate is not new to the entertainment industry.

Christina Applegate started her acting career at an early age. She made her TV debut when she was only three months old, appearing with her mother in the popular soap, Days of Our Lives. She also appeared in a commercial for Playtex at age five months.

In 1981, nine-year-old Christina Applegate landed her first role in the film, Jaws of Satan and Beatlemania. She played the young Grace Kelly in the television movie, Grace Kelly in 1983. She also appeared in other television series including Father Murphy (1981), Washington (1985) and Charles in Charge. In 1986, she won a role in the police drama, Heart of the City. Christina Applegate guest starred in several TV shows including Family Ties, Amazing Stories, Still the Beaver and All is Forgiven.

Christina Applegate eventually landed a memorable role in a FOX comedy series, “Married… with children”, which lasted for ten years (between 1987 and 1997). Aside from her successful series, Christina Applegate also appeared in Dance Til Dawn, Streets, 21 Jump Street, Top of the Heap and as a host of Saturday Night Live and Mad TV.

In 1991, Christina Applegate won a starring role in a comedy film, Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead. She then appeared in several other films, such as Across the Moon, Vibrations, Wild Bill, Mars Attacks and Nowhere.

When the sitcom “Married… with children” ended in May 1997, Christina Applegate starred in the independent film Claudine’s Return, playing the role of Claudine Van Doozen. She also starred in “The Big Hit” and “Jane Austen’s Mafia”. In 1998, Christina Applegate was back on TV when she landed a role in the sitcom, Jesse. The successful sitcom led to a People’s Choice Award, TV Guide Award and Golden Globe. However, the series only stayed for two years before ending in 2000.

Christina Applegate landed box office hit films, such as The Sweetest Thing, alongside Cameron Diaz, Wonderland, Heroes, Employee of the Month, Surviving Christmas and Grand Theft Parsons. Recently, Christina Applegate won a starring role in the ABC comedy series, Samantha Who?, where she plays opposite Jennifer Esposito, Melissa McCarthy and Jean Smart.
