Christiane Paul is a German film and stage actress born on March 8, 1974 in Pankow, Berlin. Her career in the entertainment industry began as a model for magazines such as BRAVO, one of Germany’s leading teen magazines. Despite having no formal acting background, Christiane Paul was able to bag a lead role in the movie Deutschfieber. This was followed by another commercially successful romance flick, Ich und Christine, which was about a pretty young celebrity who runs away from the blitz and glamour of stardom and finds herself living and eventually falling in love with a young lawyer.

Christiane Paul possesses the looks similar to that of Aubrey Hepburn, having a round, fresh face with a tint of adventure and excitement in her eyes. In 1995 she worked on the film ‘ex’ where this time she showed the audiences her abilities in dramatic acting.

Because of her prolific acting which garnered the praise of both critics and audiences, Christiane Paul became one of the regular faces both on film and television. In 1996 she starred in the movie Das Leben ist eine Baustelle directed by well known director Wolfgang Beckers. On the same year she appeared on Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door, which was Thomas Jahn’s film debut. In this movie she worked alongside actors Til Schweiger and January Josef Liefers. In 1997, Christiane Paul she took on the lead role of the series Der Pirat as Meike, friend of Cramberg, played by Peter Lohmever, whom he madly falls in love with.

Christiane Paul’s other film credits include Workaholic (1995), Dumm gelaufen (1996), Die Häupter meiner Lieben (1999), Marlene (1999), Im Juli (1999), Fraunde (1999), Väter (2002), Echte Kerle (2002), Im Schwitzkasten (2004), Reine Formsache (2006) and Neues vom Wixxer (2007). Christiane Paul has finished a degree in medicine but has given up on the field in 2006. She currently lives with physician Wolfgang Schwenk and their Maximillian. She also has a daughter from a previous relationship, Masha.
