When Cheryl Hines moved to L.A. and got her training from The Groundlings Theater, she felt that the past learning she got from her previous alma mater is all left behind. Her first teacher there was Lisa Kudrow who did a great job in honing her in improvising and writing comedy sketches. Her decision to move to Los Angeles has marked the big change in her life in the field of improvisational theater. Her refined comic skills were showcased in Suddenly Susan, The Wayans Bros., and Friends, though it was her Emmy-nominated performance as the hapless and comic wife of Larry David on HBOs popular series Curb Your Enthusiasm that truly made her a recognizable face on the small screen.
In 2004, Cheryl Hines leaped to supporting roles and did the comedy Along Came Polly. Cheryl continued to amuse on television with bit parts in Everybody Loves Raymond, Ask Rita, and Reno 911!. The laughter continued when she landed the role of a mother tiger on the animated television series Father of the Pride. In addition to her screen work, she has also accepted to do a one performance piece in +One Woman Show. She again amused a lot of people with her performance.
Up to date, Cheryl Hines continued to make people happy with her comic roles. The experiences she got from attending The Groundings Theater helped her prepare for the roles she has portrayed. She is a talented performer and that quality made her win her parts on the said projects. Cheryl Hines is indeed a natural talent. She married Paul Young on December 30, 2002 and at present, they are still together. Their one and only child, Catherine Rose Young added strength to their union when she was born on March 8, 2004.
