Caroline Beil is a German actress and television host born on November 3, 1966 in Hamburg, Germany. She is the daughter of trumpeter Peter Beil. Caroline Beil began her entertainment career at the age of 5 in theater. Growing up she studied ballet and performed in the musical Gisela Grimm where she played the role of a dwarf. When she was 14, Caroline Beil auditioned among a hundred others in Goethe’s ‘First’ musical play at the Thalia Theater. She was chosen to be part of the musical which was directed by the legendary Boy Gobert.

At the age of 22, Caroline Beil, who already became one of the hottest young actresses in German showbiz, went to Los Angeles and studied at the Less Strasberg Theatre School. She also worked on her singing and acting career in Hollywood. Three years later, after appearing in some American films, Caroline Beil received her SAG card. She then went back to Germany and focused on her local career.

In 1996, Caroline Beil was given the lead role in the comedy sitcom Ein ehrenwertes Haus, where for the first 24 episodes she and the rest of the cast were not given any script so they had to improvise their lines for the show. Afterwards she became a host of various television programs, and in 1999, Caroline Beil became the host of the magazine show, Lightning, which ran until 2004.

During the same year, Caroline Beil starred in the show Ich bin ein Star, holt mich hier raus! However, during her stay on the show, she caused some controversy upon disappearing for a few episodes. She as well was caught gossiping about plastic surgeries and disappointing careers of her colleagues, much to their embarrassment. To her surprise, the scenes of her spreading these rumors were caught on tape, and were aired on television.

In 2003, Caroline Beil appeared on the cover of Playboy Magazine despite being in her late thirties.

Caroline Beil appeared in the soap opera Property Times and took on the recurring role of the villainess Juliane. Since 2007, Caroline Beil joined the cast of the drama series Storm of Love.

She graduated with a degree in Sociology major in Economics and Politics at the University of Hamburg in 1995.
