Carolina finished both primary and secondary schools and became well established in the local ballet school where she has trained for nine years.
Carolina Ardohain became interested in a local clothing company that hired non professional models to become participate in an upcoming ad campaign. During that time she was working as a sales woman at one of the brand’s store which made it easier for her to join the campaign and win a slot in the advertisement.
While doing a part on the ad campaign, Pancho Dotto, a South American agent for models admired Carolina’s beauty and exerted much effort to find her. When Dotto found Carolina’s number and called her up, a deal was closed between them in just a matter of time. The same day Carolina signed a contract with Dotto Models agency and also with other international companies. Her success continued when she flied to Mexico to do a series of commercial. Her career as a model was established from then on.
Carolina Ardohain appeared on local magazine pages. Argentinean Cosmopolitan picked Pampita for her as a nickname as she was very much willing to pose nude on their magazine. She has been seen on various magazine covers in each. These magazines are based in Argentina, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile, Brazil and others. After traveling to South Korea to conduct interviews for her Argentinean TV programs El Rayo and El Sitio, she shifted to international scene. She became successful in hosting a variety show. In World Cup in 2002, Carolina was chosen to represent the national football teams.
Carolina Ardohain married Martin Barrantes in November 2002 but they separated in 2005. This is caused by the rumor that Carolina is having an affair with someone else which she denied. After the separation, she moved on and eventually fell in love again, this time with Benjamin Vicuna, a famous actor from Chile. There are published photos of her on Santiago Newspaper where she was seen pregnant while walking her beagle.
In spite of her achieved success in life, gossips followed Carolina Ardohain wherever she goes. Famous models like Nicole Neumann and Julieta Prandi called her Mucamita which means servant girl or maid. They added that even though she was on the limelight, she will never fit in the high-class world of fashion modeling.
