Her real name is Carol Ann Hovenkamp Grow. Former beauty queen and model turned actress Carol Grow was born on May 23, 1971 in Little Rock, Arkansas to parents David and Karen. Known for her bikini killer body, she won for herself the title Miss Kansas in the year 1993. After this feat, she went on to compete in the 1994 Miss USA Beauty Pageant and became the fourth delegate from her state to make it to the top 12. During the preliminary, she scored an average that made her land on the 8th place. After the overall scoring, Carol landed on the 11th place, which is considered as something not bad at all.

After this celebrated victory, although she did not really win the title Miss USA, Carol Grow immediately accepted a modeling job for Venus Swim Wear which has been her biggest modeling gig. She was signed up to pose on the company's catalogue. Various appearances on television programs while enjoying the admiration of the viewers also followed. This 5'7" blonde who is of White/Caucasian origin got what it takes to win the hearts of movie and TV followers. Her very first TV appearance, which was her very first TV commercial, came when she was only 15 years old.

Carol Grow was seen on The Double Jeopardy episode of Baywatch, acted as a prostitute on the An Officer and a Prankter episode of Black Scorpion and as Amanda in Xena's Buried Secrets episode which only proves that Carol Grow can also act.

Aside from being a model, Carol Grow took a sideline job as a reporter for XFL. Her next reporting job followed with Robot Wars: Extreme Warriors. In the year 2001, she was ranked as the 80th on the Maxim Hot 100 Women.

Later on, Carol Grow moved to the state of Florida where she married Monte Grow, a former Florida Gator. Then, she became a fitness model and was featured in the late 1990's on the morning fitness shows of ESPN2 programming. In the year 1999, she played an important part in Search Party, a TV show which was only aired for one season. Carol Grow became the red team captain. The show featured two teams. The first was composed of minor celebrities and the second team was composed of E! Network viewers. Both teams competed in contrived athletic events and scavenger hunts.
