Carmen Russo is a sexy actress and dancer who was born on October 3, 1959 in Genoa, Italy. Her first break in Italian showbiz was when she participated in the Miss Liguria beauty pageant in 1974. It was her sexy figure that made her well-known to Italian audiences, as she showed her prowess in dancing, guest appearances on television and bit roles in movies. But what made Carmen Russo more famous was her being one of Italy’s most wanted pin-up girls especially at the end of the 1970s.

Carmen Russo starred in numerous films, starting with sexy B-movies followed by horror flicks, which were the fad during the early 1980s. She also appeared in soft porn films under the name of Carmen Bizet. Carmen Russo then plunged into sexy comedies, as she represented both the character of a dumb blonde (though she is a brunette) at the same time a sultry vixen. She has worked with notable Italian actors such as Vital Alvaro, Renzo Montagnani and Linen Banfi. While on screen, Carmen Russo became active in theater as well.

She then posed for famous men’s magazines including Playboy and Playmen. At this time, Carmen Russo starred in films such as The Bribe Drives In, Risatissima, and Grand Hotel. She began to display more of her skills not just in acting but also in dancing. Her performances, matched with deep professionalism for her craft became widely acclaimed, thus making Carmen Russo’s career last longer than her contemporaries, particularly that of her rival Nadia Erasers.

In 1987, this hot dancer-actress married the Turkish Enzo Paolo, her co-star in The Bribe Drives In. At the same time Carmen Russo began to portray a villainess in the TV series Rettequatro from 1986 to 1987. She as well redefined her look: she cut her hair short and dyed it blonde. However, Carmen Russo continued to play sexy as well as antagonist roles both on film and television. In 1990 she appeared in Domenica In, and then she spent the succeeding years in the TV program Night with Ric on Italia 7.

After a hiatus from showbiz, Carmen Russo returned in 2003 in the Stupid Hotel, and episode in the show Raidue. She also participated in the reality show The Island, as well as its Spanish counterpart Supervivientes which was shown in Spain’s Telecinco network. Her most recent work was in the first episode of Good Sunday, where she once again displayed her dancing and acting prowess.

Carmen Russo is currently busy attending a dance school in Naples, together with her husband, Enzo Paolo.
