Carla Bonner, an Australian actress has done various films and appeared in many commercials and television programs. Her acting career blossomed as she portrayed Stephanie Hoyland in the hit Soap Opera “NEIGHBOURS” (1999).

Today, ‘NEIGHBOURS’ is the longest-running dramas series in Australia now running its 17th year of production. It is a chronicle of the lives of the residents of Ramsay Street in a quiet Melbourne suburb of Erinsborough. In her time in the soap, Carla Bonner’s character Steph, was involved in many major lines and emerged as the key character in the series.

Aside from Neighbors, Carla Bonner also appeared in the 1997 episode of the Drama Series RAW FM. Created by Susan MacGullicuddy, it is a story of how a group of young people, often ignored by the media had struggled to be heard and to finally find a place in the industry they love. Bonner appeared in the 1997 episode of RAW FM directed by Sue Brooks. She had been credited for an extraordinary performance n the drama series.

In 1997, Carla Bonner has a cameo role in Mr. Nice Guy, an action Comedy film starring Hong Kong’s Superstar Jackie Chan. After the film, Bonner was last seen in 2000 Documentary Neighbors’ Revealed.
Released in October 2000, the documentation presents the behind-the-scenes interviews and anecdotes of the well-loved actors as they guide the viewers through their activities in Ramsay Street.
In 2002, Carla Bonner appeared as guest housemate of the popular Big Brother Australia Celebrity Edition. Other Australian celebrity who joined the show includes Gabby Milgate (Australian comedian), Red Symons (Skyhooks and Hey Hey it’s Saturday) and former Australian Football League player Warwick Capper.

Carla Bonner was involved in a controversial car crash in July 2006. The accident had caused so much damage to the other car, a Holden Barina, which needed to be towed. She was fined $1000 after giving false name and address. Furthermore, Bonner was charged driving without valid licence at the time of the crash.

Though Carla Bonner was involved in some controversies, she has also been involved in Australian charities over the years. Bonner was able to help some of the poor people in her country and continuing raising funds for the welfare of the less fortunate ones especially children.
Bonner, a native of Australia, was born on March 3, 1973. She lives close to Melbourne with her two sons Harley (born 1991) and Jhye (born January 1998). At present, Bonner is dating Australian actor Sullivan Stapleton. The couple enjoyed their relationship but no plans yet for settling down.
