This section contains Brittany Murphy Biography

Almost automatically cast as the shaky, unstable, on the crazy team, dark but could be cute, deadly but at the same time sexy, funny then in a split second, a psycho-scarry-level character in a story or a film.

Atlanta, Georgia born, Brittany Murphy was (before the name change) came in to the world as Sharon Murphy (before the name change) on November 10, 1977. She was raised by her mother in Edison, New Jersey and showed a knack or atleast interest at a very early on for acting, staging little shows about the same time she was learning to walk as well. As early as 9 years old, she already had stage experience, an active and had been acting in regional theatre productions.

She then did commercials for TV, soon followed an offer for a regular part on the 90's sitcom "Blossom", this was Brittany's first ever role on tV.

A year after, in '91, another sitcom, this time around playing the lead character, unfortunately, "Drexell's Class"only had a short life span.

Again, a year after the last sitcom she did, in 1992, her first ever appearance on a film followed, "Family Prayers", a drama about a dysfunctional family.

On following years since, Brittany Murphy was seen on films with the same suit, subtle differences on each time and each she was on was the same familliar dysfunctional(ranging from cute enough to fall for to smiling insanely sick lets run) air that she adds to the characters.

May "it" never be defined, one thing is for sure, Britanny Murphy may not know herself that there is an "it" about her, but she does know that it's surely working for her to her advantage and why fix something thats not broken anyway.

Most people remember her in the 1995 comedy movie "Clueless", Cher, (Alicia Silverstone's character) after sencerely feeling sorry for "Tai"(Murphy's character) thinking that Tai was socially handicapped, declared her "Charity Case". Keeping her under her wings, teaching TAi all there is to know, the how's and about being popular in high school. But by the tail end of the film all that Cher accomplished was teaching her how to dress, as Tai went from being innocent, bordering on naive and on the edge to stupid to being a complete asshole even turning on the hand that fed her before the "realization", turn around and suddenly as luck would have it, before the end credits roll up, every character in the movie finds that "balance" by themselves and audiences are left with the feeling that "everything might turn out ok, anyway".

Brittany Murphy continued to appear on films, never genre-biased and with each performance, portrayed to just the right amount, not overkilling and not half ass - ing it, just what the scene needs, who or what her character is and off course just to what the story demanded. She has done movies from heavy dramatic movies, to light heartwarming family/motovational, airhead no brainer comedies, black comedies, romantic comedies even as cartoon voice.

Britanny Murphy does the voice for "Luanne", on the animated series "King of the Hill", her contributions to the series were even acknowledged by a popular magazine for men, giving "Luanne"/Britanny Murphy on "King of the Hill", as one of the Sexiest Women on Television.
