After winning the crown, Bridgette Wilson made use of her sexy looks and charm onscreen and started to pursue acting roles in Hollywood films. Bridgette Wilson landed a role in the television series Saved by the Bell in 1992, where she played the part of Ginger. She also had a part in the soap opera Santa Barbara, as Lisa Castillo. When Bridgette Wilson was cast in Last Action Hero in 1993 as the daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger, she did all her own stunts and people finally took notice of her acting. This led to Bridgette Wilson landing several more roles in other Hollywood films.
Bridgette Wilson was cast with Kristy Swanson for the movie Higher Learning, but her first lead role came for the movie Billy Madison, with Adam Sandler. She was cast as the teacher Veronica Vaughn, the love interest of Adam Sandler. This was followed by the movies Nixon and Mortal Kombat in 1995, Sweet Evil; and Unhook the Stars in 1996, and I Know What You Did Last Summer in 1997. Bridgette Wilson is also popular as a singer in Japan; she has released two albums there entitled I Only Want to Be With You and Gimme a Kiss.
Bridgette Wilsons 1999 film House on Haunted Hill was a big hit at the box office, and made the hot actress even more popular. Other films include Final Vendetta, Marina, Nevada, The Real Blonde, The Suburbans, Love Stinks, Beautiful, The Wedding Planner, Just Visiting, Buying the Cow, Extreme Ops, and Shopgirl.
In 2000, Bridgette Wilson and tennis star Pete Sampras married. She and Pete have two children together. Bridgette Wilson is also socially active, being an avid supporter of the American Oceans Campaign, as well as many AIDS organizations.
