Her first stint on television was on a bit part in Startrek: Voyager in 2001. Later on she appeared on the MTV show Undressed, yet she remained an unknown face in the entertainment world. Autumn Reeser then worked harder until she got parts in more high-profile TV shows such as George Lopez, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Cold Case. She also became a well-known face by being a Clean & Clear spokeswoman in 2003. The following year, Autumn Reeser finally got her break in the film The Girl Next Door, where she shared the screen with Emile Hirsch and Elisha Cuthbert. Because of increasing popularity, she was able to bag roles in Our Very Own where she as well took on the position of co-choreographer, and the movie Americanese alongside Kelly Hu.
Autumn Reesers career was already on the rise when she finally found the role that would lead her to ultimate stardom. In 2005, she became known as Taylor Townsend in the popular series The O.C., making her as famous as co-stars Mischa Barton and Rachel Bilson. Her being part of the successful teen series opened doors to being a cover girl for Maxim magazine. She was also ranked the 57th most beautiful woman in the world. Aside from Maxim, Autumn Reeser graced the cover of Stuff magazine. During her stay on the series, she said, The people who approach me] are so nice. I thought people might throw sodas at me because I was mean to Summer. There is always a risk in playing the villain, but they usually say they are glad I am on the show.
Autumn Reeser stayed as a regular in the series until it was canceled in 2007, but she remained to be as popular as she was, by already having established a huge fan base not just in the United States but over the world. Her most recent project is in the comedy Palo Alto, where she stars alongside Ben Savage and Tom Arnold. She is also set to star in the remake of the 1980s classic, The Lost Boys, which is scheduled for release on 2008.
Autumn Reeser lives in Los Angeles with her boyfriend Jesse Warren.
