Ashley Scott was born on July 13, 1977 in Metairie, Louisiana. Her father is a nurse, while he mother is an administrative assistant. She is a middle child between to brothers and was raised in Charleston, South Carolina. Her career began by doing modeling stints as a child.

While living in Charleston, Ashley Scott joined the Millie Lewis Talent Competition. Later on in her sophomore year of high school at the age of fifteen, she went to New York to pursue a modeling career and eventually landed as a model for Elite Miami. She then moved to Miami and became a spokesperson for Giorgio Red. Ashley Scott also walked the runways at prestigious fashion shows and appeared in the cover of the Hollywood Reporter, Women’s Wear Daily, US Weekly and Cosmo Girl.

Ashley Scott then tried the world of acting, and auditioned for the roles including Al Pacino’s S1m0ne. She didn’t win the role, but her audition tape led her to join the cast of yet another successful supernatural flick, A1: Artificial Intelligence, as Gigolo Jane, opposite Jude Law’s character Gigolo Joe.

In 2001, Ashley Scott landed into her first major acting role in the second season of the hit sci-fi series Dark Angel. Her performance as Asha Barlow in the series was well received by the show’s management such that she became a part of the regular cast instead of remaining to be a guest in the series. The following year, Ashley Scott took part in the pilot episode of Warner Brothers’ series Birds of Prey, wherein she did most her stunts. Because of her role in the said pilot, Ashley Scott underwent Tae kwon do and gymnastics in order to be fit for her character. Birds of Prey was not quite a success for Ashley Scott, but she remained to be visible especially on the big screen for appearing movies such as S.W.A.T., Trespassing, Into the Blue, and Walking Tall.

Ashley Scott was originally chosen in the NBC sitcom Joey in 2004; her role was taken by Andrea Anders. She was also seen as a nurse in Just Friends in 2005. Ashley Scott now stars in the CBS drama Jericho, as Emily Sullivan.

Ashley Scott is married to producer Anthony Scott Rhulen. She also is good friends with Paris Hilton whom she visited while in jail. When not on location, Ashley Scott likes to go horseback riding, cooking, and spending time with pets, which consist of two dogs, two tortoises, a chameleon and a bearded dragon.
