Ashley-Lyn Cafagna was born on February 15, 1983 in Iowa City, Iowa. She is an American actress and singer whose career spanned for over fourteen years now. At the age of nine, she joined and won Little Miss California, and soon began her career as a model doing stints for Radiosa Gowns, Tommy Hilfiger and Levi Jeans. Eventually, Ashley-Lyn Cafagna graced covers of magazines including the Teen Beauty Guide. Because of her beauty and role model image as a teenager, she was given the opportunity to portray teen characters in NBC’s Saved by the Bell: The New Cast, as Liz Miller, and CBS’s The Bold and the Beautiful, where she was known as Kimberly Fairchild. While on B&B, she was able to travel to Venice, Italy.

Because of her role in the popular soap opera, Ashley-Lyn Cafagna became featured in other magazines such as the Soap Opera Digest and Soap Opera Weekly, as well as other dramas including In Depth and Cross Point. Ashley-Lyn Cafagna also made guest appearances on 7th Heaven, Hey Arnold, Valley of the Dolls, CBS’s morning news show, as well as a celebrity guest host for E! Entertainment Television.

Ashley-Lyn Cafagna became a presenter of the Daytime Emmy Awards and the Soap Opera Digest Awards. In Australia, she was hailed as the Best Newcomer on a Daytime Television Show. Ashley-Lyn Cafagna is also cited as one of the Fifty Most Beautiful People on television by The Soap Opera Digest and Soap Opera Weekly magazines.

Throughout her career, Ashley-Lyn Cafagna has starred in eight films, the most popular being The Skulls II. In 2005, she and husband Anthony J. Tesoro, whom she married in 2001, established their own production company, Tesoro Entertainment.

Ashley Tesoro is not just a model and actress but also a singer. She started singing in church, and while on the cast of The Bold and the Beautiful, she expressed her singing talents as part of Kimberly Fairchild’s character, thanks to the show’s executive producer Bradley Bell. Ashley-Lyn Cafagna recorded a number of original songs as well as music videos for the soap, and one of them premiered on the Valentine Show of KIIS FM.

In 2007, Ashley-Lyn Cafagna released her own album which featured a variety of country music under Tesoro Records. It was produced by Ron Aniello and Mike Shipley. She now goes under the name Ashley Tesoro. Her album is set to be downloadable in iTunes by November 2007.
