At the age of fifteen, Ashley Jones started acting on film and television, starting off with the mini-series Fire Next Time. Because of her acting prowess, she was nominated in the prestigious Youth in Film Awards. She then moved on to appear in the first season of Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, which was followed by the popular TV soap, The Young and the Restless. While at work, Ashley Jones managed to finish her BA degree in Pepperdine University. While playing her role in The Young and the Restless, she was twice nominated for Outstanding Younger Actress Award at the Emmys in 1999 and 2000.
Upon moving to Los Angeles, Ashley Jones continued her acting work on stage by doing a production of Harold Pinters Betrayal at the Rait Theatre in Malibu and the comedy Writers Block in 2003. She also took part in films such as the comedy Old School opposite Luke Wilson and Will Farrell, Devils Prey, The Kings Guard, and Extreme Dating.
Currently Ashley Jones stars as Bridget Forrester, on the no.1 soap opera, The Bold and the Beautiful, which is aired in over 120 countries worldwide. In 2005, she was again nominated for an Emmy, this time as the Viewers Favorite Award for Most Irresistible Combination alongside co-star Jack Wagner.
Among her other television credits are appearances on Strong Medicine, 7th Heaven, The District, Without A Trace, V.I.P., and Cold Case. She as well played a recurring role on For the People with Leah Thompson and Crossing Jordan with Jennifer Finnigan.
Ashley Jones also has a passion for helping those in need, thus she worked at the Malibu Volunteer Center from 1998-1999. She has as well been involved recently with City of Hope. Ashley Jones now resides in Los Angeles with her husband, Noah Nelson.
