Aracely Arambula was born in Chihuahua, Mexico, on March 6, 1975. As a child, she already wanted to be an entertainer, and would take on acting and singing opportunities, even if she was not yet a professional. She also participated in school beauty pageants and became a consisted title holder. In 1992, she joined and won in the Rostro del Heraldo contest, which was where she was first to be noticed.

After winning in the Rostro del Heraldo, Aracely Arambula moved to Mexico City and studied at the Televisa acting school. She graduated at the Centro de Educacion Artistica and eventually landed on small roles in Televisa’s telenovelas. Her first appearance on a telenovela was in Prisonera de amor in 1994.

After becoming a regular face on various telenovelas in the Televisa network, Aracely Arambula was finally given a starring role in a telenovela ensemble in Soñadoras. She also played the character of Maria Elena Hernandez in Alma Rebelde in 1999. Aracely Arambula eventually took on another starring role in Abrazame muy fuerte in 2002, which was followed by Las vias del amor. In Abrazame muy fuerte, there were scenes where she was either half naked or only in underwear. Las vias del amor meanwhile, became Aracely’s last work as a soap superstar, as she tuned in to focus on yet another career, as a singer.

Aracely Arambula appeared on the famous Mexican magazine, H para Hombres, which became immediately sold out when copies of it were released in the market. She was also featured in magazine advertisements for Hanes underwear carrying the slogan ‘Look who we’ve got our Hanes on now’. Aracely Arambula now shares the slogan with the likes of international celebrities such as Michael Jordan, Marisa Tomei, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Matthew Perry, as well as Spanish celebrity Pablo Montero. Kevin Bacon and Christina Applegate also joined the Hanes campaign on 2006.

Aracely Arambula has been involved with famous actors in Mexican showbiz as well. She was seen going out with actor Gabriel Soto, singer-actor Eduardo Verastagui, and Hanes model Pablo Montero. With Montero, Aracely Arambula consistently stated that they just went out on friendly dates and that they are the best of friends, despite the press pushing for romantic inklings between the two. She is now living with actor Luis Miguel, and they have a son born on January 1, 2007.

When not at work, Aracely Arambula spends time cooking and going to the gym to maintain her figure. She is also well known for her various hairstyles, for she makes it a point to have a change of either haircut or hair color every after a few months.
