Annie Potts, beautiful curly haired American actress, was born on October 28, 1952 in Nashville, Tennessee. She is famous for working in Hollywood films and television. She has two older sisters named Mary Eleanor and Elizabeth Grissette. Their parents names are Dorothy Harris and Powel Grissette Potts. The hot actress showed an early interest in acting and films, as she studied at the Stephens College and took up theater studies. Annie Potts first captured Hollywood audiences when she appeared as Janine Melnitz in 1984’s Ghostbusters. Sexy Annie Potts also appeared in the 1989 sequel to the film.

This was followed by a stint in television for the series Designing Women where she stayed for seven years. Sexy Annie Potts also appeared in Love and War, although to her disappointment the show cancelled after just a few episodes. She was still nominated an Emmy for her role in Love and War.

In 1978, the sexy actress starred in her first leading role for the movie Corvette Summer where she plays a prostitute who begins a relationship with a high school boy. During the same year she also appeared in King of the Gypsies, and later on, Heartaches. In 1982, Annie Potts received a Genie award for Heartaches.

Annie Potts became famous in the teenage movie genre when she starred in the Hollywood film Pretty in Pink, where she costarred with Molly Ringwald. In 1990’s Texasville, she costarred with Jeff Bridges as his wife, and received critical acclaim for the role. The hot actress also lent her voice to the character of Bo Peep in the animated feature Toy Story in 1995, as well as its sequel in 1999. Annie Potts continued to work where she deemed herself marketable, which was television movies. These included Black Market Baby in 1977, and Flatbed Annie and Sweetpie: Lady Truckers, in 1979.

From 1996-1997, the sexy actress took over the role of Michelle Pfeiffer as a sharp school teacher for the television production of Dangerous Minds. Annie Potts received critical acclaim for this as well, however not enough to keep the show lasting. Annie Potts returned to sitcom where she performed very well, in the series Over the Top where she was cast opposite Tim Curry.

When Annie Potts was 20 years old, she and her college sweetheart Steve Hartley married. After a short time, while in New Mexico, they were seriously injured in a car accident because two drivers were drag racing. Her husband lost his leg, and Annie Potts retained many fractures. She and Steve Hartley divorced and she had other husbands such as Greg Antonacci, B. Scott Senechal, and her current husband, James Hayman.
