Annalise Braakensiek is an Australia model, actress and TV host born in New South Wales on December 9, 1972. She is of Czech and Norwegian ancestry, and can speak five languages, namely, English, German, Dutch, Italian and Japanese. She graduated at the University of New South Wales and attained a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts majoring in sculpture and jewelry design.

Annalise Braakensiek first established her career as a model in Australia. From then on, she invaded Europe and the United States with her looks and glamour, being the top model from down under. Aside from modeling, Annalise Braakensiek focused her skills on television, both as an actress and TV host. The cheery atmosphere which she naturally shares to the audience made her perfect for comedy roles.

Annalise Braakensiek starred on the smash hit TV series Pizza, where she played the funny and quirky Claudia McPherson, whose character she herself co-wrote. She stayed on the series for five years, from 2000 to 2005. During her stay, the series earned four nominations at the Logie Awards. Apart from Pizza, she also guest starred in Heartbreak High and Home and Away, as well as co-hosted Britain’s Play Your Cards Right and MTV Germany.

Annalise Braakensiek has graced covers for different fashion and sports magazines during her career. She has been the Inside Sport magazine’s best-selling cover girl, and has posed for FHM, Ralph, Maxim (Italy), UK’s Loaded, and Cosmopolitan in the US, to name a few. For the past thirteen years, Annalise Braakensiek has been present in 19 different lists of sexiest women around the world. She also has a taste for music, yet only a few know that she loves listening to hip hop and R&B. During her free time, Annalise Braakensiek indulges in painting, sketching, sculpting ceramics and desigining jewelry, all of which she learned during her years at the university. She also devotes her time on the Bikram strand of yoga, as well as organic cooking.

Annalise Braakensiek aspires to further her acting reach, and hopes to achieve her dream role as a lead in either a Woody Allen or Coen Brothers project, or grab a role in Kath & Kim.

A model, actress, and achieving celebrity status, Annalise Braakensiek completes her life goals in being an advocate for animal welfare issues. She is involved with the Humane Society International and the People for Ethical Treatment of Animals. She has recently stripped naked in order to stop the cruelty to live sheep exports.
