Anna Falchi was born in Tampere, Finland, on April 22, 1972. Her mother is Finnish, while her father is Italian. She grew up in the outskirts of Italy, and was a little tomboyish. When she was young, Anna Falchi invented an imaginary friend named Puff, who became a reflection of the dreams and aspirations she wanted to be. Anna Falchi already built an individualistic character since she was a child, thus she had to work on making friends during her childhood days.

During the 1980s, Anna Falchi was enrolled in a modeling school by her mother, which was where her career was nurtured. She participated in the Miss Italy pageant of 1989 and she was crowned the title of Miss Cinema. This initial success introduced Anna to renowned director Frederico Fellini, and because of him she was cast in the commercial of Bank of Rome.

After a few years of modeling, Anna Falchi took on a different career path, this time a film career. In 1993, she appeared in Nel Continente Nero (On the Dark Continent), and this was followed by a stream of a number of Italian film projects, such as Anni 90-Parte II in the same year, as well as S.P.Q.R. e ½ anni fa, C’Kim Novak al telefono, and Miracolo italiano in 1994. Anna Falchi also took on the international scene during the mid-1990s, when she took on lead roles in L’Affaire, La Principessa e il Povero, Dellamorte Dellamore, and the miniseries Caraibi in 1999.

Anna Falchi also became the face of different fashion products, as she endorsed Marcolin, Infiore bras and jeans for Daniela Bongiomo. She was as well a regular fixture on Italian television, through doing hosting work in different pageants and special presentations, including Donna sotto le Stell, Stell a 4 zampe, Luna Park and Domenica In.

Anna Falchi continued to develop her crafts as she added a few more dimensions on her multi-disciplinary career. She starred alongside fellow fashion superstars Victoria Silystedt and Cindy Crawford in the 2000 comedy Bodyguard. She as well continued her string of print ads and commercials when she promoted Yamaha, Intgre, Auguri Preziosi, and Armata di Mare. Anna Falchi has taken over the world of stage, starring in Italian productions of Niel Simon’s Barefoot in the Park and Ray Cooney’s Two into One. Being busy with theatre work, Anna Falchi’s film career slowed down, as she was seen in only two movies for the past five years, namely, Operazione Rosmarino in 2002, and Nessun in Segreteria in 2005.

At thirty-five, Anna Falchi remains estranged to her father.
