The Hollywood actress Ami Dolenz was born on January 8, 1969, in Burbank, California. She is the only child of Samantha Juste and Mickey Dolenz. The sexy film and movie actress made it clear when she was a teenager that she already wanted to act. At 15 years old, Ami Dolenz sent a tape to Junior Star Search, and landed a part in the Junior Acting Division. Ami Dolenz’s first casting was for the movie The Children of Times Square, which was released in 1986. She dropped out of high school at 17 to focus full time on acting.

After the movie, she was cast for two episodes on the television series Growing Pains. Ami Dolenz continued to rise as a Hollywood film star; it did not take long for directors and audiences to take notice of her. This was followed by roles for the movie Can’t Buy Me Love in 1987, and subsequent roles in series General Hospital, Mr. Belvedere, and Starman. Ami Dolenz’s role in General Hospital as Melissa McKee earned her two nominations for a Young Artist Award in the categories of Best Young Actress Starring in a Television Drama Series and Best Young Actress in a Daytime Drama Series.

Ami Dolenz, the sexy Hollywood film star, then went on to be cast for 13 episodes in the television series Ferris Bueller. Her role ended when the show was cancelled. Still, this did not put a dent in Ami Dolenz’s career as she continued to star in other movies and television shows. Among films, she starred in She’s Out of Control, Faith, Miracle Beach, Stepmonster, White Wolves: A City in the Wild II, Ticks aka Infested, Witchboard 2: The Devil’s Doorway, Rescue Me aka Street hunter, To Die, To Sleep; Pumpkinhead II: Blood Wings, Life 101, Daedalus is Dead, Demolition University; Shogun Cop; Mr. Id, Even If, and the upcoming movies 2010 Doomsday and Room and Board.

Ami Dolenz’s other television appearances also include Hardball, Superboy, Sunset Beat, Glory Days, Murder, She Wrote; Saved by the Bell: The College Years, Bandit: Bandit Bandit, ABC After school Special, Virtual Seduction, Pacific Blue, Teen Angel, and The Secret Files of Spy Dogs. In 2002, Ami Dolenz and Jerry Trimble married and have been together ever since.
