|
Allison Mack moved to California when she was six years old, and since then, she already became an established actress. She attended the famous Young Actors Space school in Los Angeles, and she was able to be cast in films such as Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves, Camp Nowhere, and Police Academy 6: City Under Siege.
At a young age, Allison Mack has already worked with notable personalities including Sissy Spacek, Dolly Parton and Leslie Ann Warren. Her TV breakthrough was on Seventh Heaven, where she played the role of a troubled teenager who attempted to commit suicide. Because of this, she became a regular in three television series, namely Hill & Diller, Opposite Sex and the hit Smallville as Chloe Sullivan. Her character wrapped the show's sixth season as the only person (aside from Clark's parents) to discover Clark Kent's real abilities. Aside from being one of the lovely faces on television, Mack has also proven herself on film, as she received critical acclaim for the movie My Horrible Year, Eric Stoltz's directorial debut.
When not on location, Allison Mack exercises her talents onstage, and thus did a double role of choreographer and performer in productions such as Rent and Chicago. Because of these, she was given the opportunity to make her own stint on directing the Jer Bear Productions' onstage project, Hair. She is also an accomplished singer.
Allison Mack not only devotes her time in exercising her talents, but sharing them also to those in need. At a young age she already makes room for charity, particularly to Kids With A Cause, in order to help the lives of impoverished children in Southern California.
Because Smallville was shot in Canada, Allison Mack moved to Vancouver as well. However, she maintains a home with her parents at Southern California. She has two siblings, Shannon and Robyn. During her free time, Mack likes to read, paint and listen to music. She is also close friends with Smallville co-star Kristin Kreuk.
