Perhaps she had difficulty when her parents divorced in 1978 and she found solace only in acting. Thus, her performance in Bronco Billy and Tightrope proved that life in the movies is far easier to play than her part in real life. Her home in Carmel, California became a playground instead of home. She partied and rebelled with friends and was soon had a run in with the law. She was arrested for drunk driving and had to spend a night in jail. But her dreams pulled her back to where she is good at acting and modeling (like her parents). She appeared in many roles and did runway and commercial modeling.
As a child, she appeared in many child and teen roles. She was first seen in 1984 in the move Tightrope. She also tried out modeling and posed for several fashion magazines in Europe and in Vogue US. Then in 2003, she posed nude for Playboy. In 1997, she was seen in the film Absolute Power and in the film Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. In 1998, she appeared in Black and White, in 1999 in Breakfast of Champions and in 2003 in Poolhall Junkies opposite Christopher Walken and Chazz Palminteri. She also appeared in Just a Little Harmless Sex.
Like her father she tried her hand at working behind the scene. She associate produced Dont Tell in 2005 and directed Rails and Ties. She established Purple Rose Production and is now very busy being an independent film producer. Purple Rose Productions tries to make good and creative films like Bombshell, a Jean Harlow biopic. And following the footsteps of her mother she has her clothing line, Eastwood Ranch which is now famous for its denim and Western styled sports wear.
She will be seen next in the horror film The Story Teller and in the action romance film The Drummer. She will star opposite Michael Madsen in The Drummer. At the same time she is busy with her production company and clothing line.
