Alice’s parents are both educators. Although she was born in Chicago the family moved to England. Her parents raised her in English fashion. She attended the University College of London where she received 2.1 in Italian and French.
Alice had a much publicized and long relationship with the grandson of Pablo Picasso, Olivier Picasso. Their relationship lasted for eight year during which she became one of the the “It-Girls” of Europe. She lived with him for several years and had even gotten to the point of being engaged with him. However after eight years the couple split up.
Alice then found herself in a new relationship with Ioan Gruffudd. In 2006 New Year’s Day they got engaged in when she gave him and ultimatum. They are set to marry in September of 2007. The two met in the filming of 102 Dalmatians. Their relationship enjoyed relative obscurity until Alex revealed to the Daily Express it in an interview for the premier of Black Hawk Down
