Alexandra Kamp-Groeneveld was born in Baden-Baden Germany on December 29, 1966. Her first love was acting, and growing up she visited various drama schools in Paris, Los Angeles and New York. She started her acting career in 1994 and was able to bag starring roles in German film and television shows.

When she went to Hollywood, Alexandra Kamp took lead roles this time, in B-movies. She has played opposite Claudia Cardinale in the film Riches, Belles et Cruelles in 1998. Afterwards she starred in the action-thriller Half Past Dead alongside Steven Segal and Morris Chestnut. This was followed by another horror-thriller Dracula 3000, this time with Coolio and Casper Van Dien. Alexandra Kamp also worked on 2001: A Space Travesty, with Leslie Nielsen. She afterwards did the English-South African movie Sumuru with Michael Shanks.

Her beauty paired with magnificent talent earned her numerous appearances both in film and on television. Kamp became part of the hit show Horne James on MTV. Alexandra Kamp also played the lead in the European TV series Antonia, wherein it became an intercontinental success reaching the coasts Switzerland, France, Italy, Germany, China, Mexico and Switzerland. She as well did the French-American-German adaptation of Mary Higgins Clark’s A Crime of Passion. It is now available on DVD.

Alexandra Kamp has recently been recognized this time in Australia, for making an animal wildlife documentary for the News Magazine on BBC. Back in Germany, she starred in the hit musical Ludwig II: Longing for Paradise, which was filmed at Bavaria’s Neuschwanstein Castle.

Not only is Alexandra Kamp an actress but a stunning model as well. Along with other famous personalities, she took part of the worldwide campaign of Hugo Boss Baldessarini, as the fashion brand celebrated its sixth year in the fashion industry. Her strides graced Danish designer duo Muntheplussimonsen’s 10th anniversary as she walked the runway with supermodels Emma S. and Helena Christensen.

Alexandra Kamp has also modeled for prominent designers including Yves Saint Laurent, Paco Rabanne, Gianfranco Ferre, and endorsed brands like Armani and Dior. Alexandra Kamp was also hailed Woman of the Year in Maxim Magazine as well as one of the 100 most beautiful women in the world courtesy of England’s Nuts Magazine.

Alexandra Kamp also possess a big heart, as she made it a point to share her blessings to those in need. While being a model and an actress, she also spends time being the spokesperson for Germany’s Make a Wish Foundation. She hosts fund-raising projects and encourages fellow celebrities to reach out and help fund a home in the Bavarian Alps for terminally-ill children and their families.
