Alba Parietti Biography
In 1979, Alba Parietti became the pride of Italy by representing the country in the Miss Universe Pageant. With that, a number of television appearances followed, starting with Galaxia 2 in 1983, Yellow, and Galagol. Alba Parietti has also been a host of various shows, events and festivities in Italy, and she became a regular in the Festival of Sanremo with Pippo Baudo from 1992-1997. Along with this are guest appearances in World Nights, Domenica In, It crawls the News, All in Plaza and Macao of Gianni Boncompagni.
Alba Parietti has been known to be an all-around entertainer in Italy. She not only has the looks and a sexy body, she is also a very good dancer. She is rather famous for her seductive pole and chair dancing skills. She first displayed her talent during the late 1980s in bit appearances in Only Music Survives, Look into My Eyes, and Amy and Alba. Not only is Alba Parietti active on television but in film as well. In 1991 she starred in the film Abbronzatissimi, The Butcher in 1997 and Paparazzos in 1998. She also took part in the TV movie Three Stars, as well as the theatrical show Clothing of a Blonde opposite her then husband Franco Oppini from 2001-2002. She continued her hosting affairs as she went back to the Festival of Sanremo in 2003, this time with Bruno Vespa. She was also part of Maurice Costanzos Good Domenica from 2003-2004, and has also been a judge of the reality show Farm on Italy 1, also in 2004.
Alba Parietti was married to Franco Oppini in 1981, but the two divorced in 1990. They have one son, Francesco.
