Alana Curry was born in Redwood City, California on May 5, 1980, and was raised in Hawaii and then in Arizona because of her father’s real estate business. She began performing as a child, doing recitals in ballet and tap dance. She studied ballet for 12 years. Afterwards, she pursued on another endeavor in the performing arts, acting. While still in high school, Curry has already appeared on several commercials, voice-overs as well as bit parts on film and television.

Among her credits are TV shows such as NBC’s Passions, Days of our Lives, Robbery Homicide Division on CBS, The Bold and the Beautiful, Beverly Hills 90210 and Nick Freno, Licensed Teacher.

Alana Curry has been more active in supporting roles even in film. Her movie appearances include Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, opposite Kristanna Loken and no less than Arnold Schwarzenegger. She also played a bit role in the movie Time Changer, as well as independent films like Is This Seat Taken, A Pony for Maria, and Changing Fates. Curry’s commercials include Papa John's Pizza, Plymouth Neon, Mitsubishi and Yahoo!. She says that her role in T3, despite being short, was really emotionally challenging, for she was required to scream a lot in her scenes. Her foot was also brushed by bullet shell during the film.

Because of her role in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Alana Curry was exposed not just as an actress but a sex symbol as well. She has been featured in magazines such as Femme Fatale, Autograph Collector, and Sirens of Cinema. She also was a guest on the Howard Stern Show. She is as well a Benchwarmer Trading Card model. Her most recent project was the horror flick Revamped, alongside Jeff Rector and Martin Cove.

Alana Curry never ceased her love for dancing, as she kept ballet and hip-hop dancing as part of her hobbies. During her free time, Curry likes doing aerobics, seeing movies, traveling, and participating in charity events. She is a big fan of music, ranging from the likes of John Mayer, James Blunt, Greenday, and Evanescence, to Daniel Powter and Tim McGraw, as well as The Beatles and Norah Jones. She is an active supporter of the Hollywood Hoopsters, a basketball team comprised of different celebrities that raises funds for schools.

Alana Curry was once married to fellow actor Robert Lyon Rasner. Curry currently resides in Toluca Lake, California with her two cats. She stands five feet and seven inches tall.
