Agnes Bruckner was born on the 16th of August 1985. She had a very fascinating background. She was born from a Russian mother and Hungarian father who later on divorced. Her grandfather from her father side was German. Her parents fell in love and married in Hungary but then moved to the United States in 1984. With her background she speaks fluent Hungarian and English and some Russian. She grew up in Los Angeles but the family moved to Oregon when she was five and stayed there till she was ten years old. After that they moved again to Los Angeles.

As a child she loved dancing and had been dancing ballet, tap dance and classical dance at the age of five. When she was eight years old she did some modeling. This was brought by the encouragement of her mother who also entered her to a beauty contest. Her career in acting was launched when she was jus eleven years old. She appeared in many commercials for televisions, in many television shows and in the daytime soap The Bold and the Beautiful in 1999.

In 2002, when she was fifteen, she got her first role in the movies. She was offered the lead in Blue Car. Blue car was independently produced and her role was that of a high school student who had an affair with her teacher. Her teacher was played by actor David Strathairn. She was praised by the critics and even Roger Ebert acknowledged the challenge she overcame in portraying the character. She was then nominated for Best Female Lead by the Independent Spirit Award.

Prior to that role she appeared in The Glass House in 2001 and in Murder by Numbers in 2002 with Sandra Bullock. She also appeared in 24 and in the series Alias. She was seen in Venom in 2005 and in The Woods in 2006. She was also seen with Scott Mechlowiczk in Peaceful Warrior where she was awarded ShoWest Female Star of Tomorrow.

In 2007 she appeared as a werewolf in the horror love film Blood and Chocolate. Her next role would be in the psychological thriller Last Resort.

Her other films included Dreamland, Stateside, Haven and Home Room. Agnes is still single and loves to date. She loves R&B, rap music and hip hop. She also loves traveling and looks forward to her regular visit to her father who lives in Hungary. She particularly loves practicing her different spoken languages as she visits Europe.
